In Book 1 Antonio Vargas introduces his notation system for footwork and percussion, which will revolutionize the teaching of Flamenco in years to come. Based on a simple system that follows musical notation, the time signature shows the number of stems in each bar and the symbols denoting the foot movements are attached to these stems.  He explains the intrinsicacies of the Soleá, the Mother of Flamenco, for all to understand and gives an account of his life-long involvement with this fascinating art-form. Filled with photos from live-shows and with memories of his artistic experiences, his first book is a precious resource for all Flamenco students (dancers, guitarists, singers) and aficionados alike.

In DVD 1 Antonio gives clear examples of the notation system, and demonstrates essential exercises for posture and dexterity.  We are given a rare insight into the art of teaching flamenco singing with Maestro Talegón de Córdoba, who later leads his niece, dancer La Talegone, and the guitarist Jorge Padilla in an memorable rendition of the Soleá, a perfect example of the Trilogy of Flamenco. Finally a small treat of things to come in DVD 2, with a Fiesta por Tangos with  Domingo Ortega, Rafael Campallo and Andrés Peña Morón.

DVD 2 is an account of live performances by three of the best male dancers of the new Flamenco generation: Domingo Ortega, Rafael Campallo and Andrés Peña Morón.

In DVD 3 we are immersed in the artistry of one of the great exponents of Flamenco singing, a fountain of knowledge and a true maestro, Talegón de Córdoba, accompanied by Jorge Padilla at the guitar.
